COVID-19 update

Despite last year’s challenges there is good news from Pocket: we launched three new developments, helping more of London’s first-time buyers get onto the housing ladder. We still have a full team working to conduct socially-distanced viewings safely and in line with government guidance, or we’re able to offer detailed virtual viewings as an alternative. We’re also now approaching our 1,000th home – with several developments in the pipeline for London’s middle earners.

The enthusiasm for Pocket homes that we have recently seen from city makers has left us feeling energised and optimistic about our future of creating home ownership opportunities for middle earning Londoners. We’ve seen a real surge in Pocket registrations, showing that there is a big appetite in the market for Londoners looking to move into a home of their own.

We hosted our first Instagram live event on 2 February 2021, where Head of Sales Jenny was interviewed. We asked her our buyer’s frequently asked questions as well as queries sent in from our followers. Go and check it out to learn about the Pocket buying process and more. Follow us on Instagram so you don’t miss the next one.

At our landmark new development in Croydon – Addiscombe Grove CR0 – we’re excited to be able to offer virtual viewings to city makers living or working in any London borough. On-site viewings will resume soon. Harbard Close IG11 in Barking is also available to city makers from any London borough, and our on-site show home is now available for viewings (by appointment only). Gardner Close E11 in Redbridge is fully reserved but you can join the waiting list. If you are interested in any of these developments, register for a My Pocket account:

Following our previous award-winning development in Waltham Forest, Gainsford Road E17, we’re happy to announce that we will be returning to E17 to build at Forest Road. We’ll be bringing 90 more affordable Pocket homes to the borough – stay tuned for further updates. Also in Waltham Forest, we’ll be delivering 196 homes in Leyton. We are also going to be building 86 Pocket homes in Barnet, Woodside Park N12, our first development in the borough.

We’re open and can’t wait to safely show you what might be your new home. Detailed virtual viewings are available as an alternative to an on-site viewing. All on-site viewings will be conducted in accordance with government guidelines. Please register with us as the first step to booking a viewing but if you have any specific questions get in touch with our sales team on 020 7291 3683 or email sales@pocketliving.com.

If you already own a Pocket home, please continue to contact our customer care team with any enquiries. Please note that there may be a slightly delayed response to tickets that are not deemed to be an emergency.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our customers, contractors and stakeholders who have been by our side in these difficult times. We have been touched by the stories of kindness that have emerged from our Pocket communities.
