Hello Mountearl Gardens SW16!
Mountearl Gardens SW16 is another great example of the way Pocket Living brings architectural quality to areas of London popular with first time buyers. We’re really proud of our latest scheme which made creative use of this site set on the corner of the handsome estate off Leigham Court Road. Previously home to old garages, we worked with HKR Architects to create a building comprised of one, two and three storey blocks that optimises the site without compromising the views of existing residents.
As with most of our buildings, we have ‘semi-external’ walkways and common areas which helps to keep services charges for residents low. On this scheme we’ve used a gorgeous powder-coated ‘modernist’ screening which lets in light and air, as well as creating visual interest.
This works beautifully with the stainless steel mesh that also features throughout the building, creating a sense of space to the entrance area, and providing great security for the bike store.
The screening also provides a lovely backdrop to the communal areas to the rear of the building, which has benches and table areas where new Pocket people can meet or just enjoy some peaceful time outside.
Lucky buyers who bagged a ground floor flat will also have their own private patio. And all residents, including those who already live on the estate, can enjoy the newly landscaped public areas to the front of the building. At Pocket we really believe in enhancing existing communities and giving newcomers an opportunity to integrate with those already living in the area, so we’re always thrilled to be able to offer this type of amenity.
