Pocket’s latest development Western Road UB2 has launched!
We’re really excited about our new Pocket community, located right in the heart of vibrant Southall. Our building was designed by the well-known architectural practice JTP, and contains 36 compact one bedroom apartments, all available for sale to first time buyers at the discounted price of £165,000 – it’s a great way to get your foot on the housing ladder. Each home is a perfectly-formed 38m2 with kitchen-living room, double bedroom, shower room, and heaps of built-in storage. There’s a huge garden to the rear, perfect for practising your gardening skills and meeting the other residents, all of whom will be owner-occupiers too.
Southall has its own history, with a large Asian population, loads of great shopping and foods, and plenty of green space. But a new history is in the making with the arrival of Crossrail to Southall, a regeneration effort that will transform the neighbourhood. Crossrail brings with it a stunning new station with trains linking commuters to Central London in super-quick times (Paddington 13 minutes, Bond Street 17 minutes, Liverpool Street 24 minutes, Canary Wharf 31 minutes). Back in Southall, development is afoot with Berkeley Homes taking over the iconic Southall Gasworks delivering 3,750 new homes.
So while Southall is still surprisingly affordable, and even more so with Pocket, the area is one of London’s hotspots. Don’t take our word for it, have a play with this Crossrail tool developed by JLL. Southall is within the borough of Ealing, which has lots of things going on, and check out the photos our Instagram friends took on a recent ‘Instameet’, showcasing Southall’s hidden gems!

Affordability assessment – by Friday 23rd October 2015
So you we will need to obtain an ‘affordability assessment’ from our partner IMA (Independent Mortgage Advisor) Censeo. This is just to check that you would be able to proceed with a purchase, so at this stage there’s no paperwork involved, you just need to give some information over the phone. This needs to be done by Friday 23rd October.
